September 7th 2019-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Jorge Linares (45-5, 28) vs Al Toyogon (10-4-1, 6) Earlier today fans in Tokyo saw the popular Jorge Linares return to the Land of the Rising Sun for his first fight in the country in more than 4 years. In fact his bout today was his first at the legendary Korakuen Hall in well over a decade, with the Venezuelan facing off with Filipino foe Al Toyogon. July 6th 2019-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Shuya Masaki (12-1, 5) vs Al Toyogon (10-3-1, 6) This past weekend the once beaten Shuya Masaki [正木脩也] battled with Filipino youngster Al Toyogon at the legendary Korakuen Hall. May 4th 2019-The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex, Paranaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines Al Toyogon (10-2-1, 6) vs Ryo Sagawa (6-1, 4) This past weekend fight fans got a thrilling fight in the Philippines as Al Toyogon, the WBC Asian Boxing Council silver Super Featherweight champion, took on Japanese challenger Ryo Sagawa [佐川遼] in an excellent fight. Earlier today ESPN5 live streamed their latest show, Night of Champions XVII. The show wasn't a stacked one, but did feature a number of minor title fights and a brilliant main event between Al Toyogon and Ryo Sagawa, in what was a real thriller of a main event. We're expecting this card to be uploaded on a fight by fight basis shortly, but here is the full show, and it's certainly worth a watch.
