This coming Monday is a busy day in Asian boxing with a number of notable and important bouts. Osaka, Japan The biggest show of the day comes form Osaka where we get numerous bouts of note, each being significant for the fighters involved with neither man, in some cases, being able to afford a loss. The main event is a 10 round bout which will put highly regarded Japanese prospect Sho Nakazawa (6-0, 4) up against former world title challenger Silvester Lopez (24-10-2, 18). For Nakawazawa this is a massive step up in class and a really significant test against a big puncher who is considered to be on the slide. For Lopez however it's a chance to move towards another major fight, possibly and OPBF title fight, later in the year. Both men have a lot to gain with a win and we suspect we'll learn a lot about both fighters and where they are heading with their careers. Another notable bout will see the tough Myung Ho Lee (18-4-1, 6) battle against the promising Akiyoshi Kanazawa (12-3-4, 6). On paper it's hard to go against the 32 year old Lee, who is ranked by both the JBC and the OPBF, however at just 23 years old Kanazawa has youth on his side and is genuinely a fighter who has flown under the radar whilst improving markedly. It's a tough ask for the youngster but it's also a huge opportunity. A high profile 4-rounder will see Juiki Tatsuyoshi (1-0, 1), the son of the great Joichiro Tatsuyoshi, battle against the limited Naoki Okamura (1-3). This should be a straight forward win for the 18 year old Tatsuyoshi, though he'll have a lot of pressure on his shoulders, just for being his father's son, and will know that Okamura will be gunning for him here. The remaining bout of note, and one with direct implications on the Japanese title scene, will see JBC ranked Light Flyweight Kenichi Horikawa (28-13-1, 5) battle Il Che (7-8-5, 1). On paper this is a mismatch and Horikawa knows that. He also knows that if he loses here he will lose a shot at the vacant Japanese Light Flyweight title against Shin Ono. Che doesn't have the opportunity up for grabs if he wins but he will be given a notable ranking if he can upset his experienced foe. As well as the 4 bouts mentioned, this card will feature a further 5 bouts, Fukuoka, Japan The “secondary” card in Japan comes from Fukuoka where fans get an 8 bout card. Although there's 8 bouts in total most of them come at a low level with only 2 really standing out for us. The most notable of those is the main event of the show, which will see Yoshihiko Matsuo (18-5-6, 3) battle against Satoshi Ozawa (9-6-1, 2). On paper this should be an easy win for Matsuo, especially considering the fact Ozawa has been stopped in 3 of his last 5. Matsuo however will be risking his #9 JBC ranking and that may draw the best from Ozawa who knows that a win will kick start his fledgling career. The other bout of note will see Koki Ono (7-3, 4) battle Aiki Koto (8-2-1, 4) in a really mouth watering match up between fighters looking to to bounce back from losses. Ono's loss actually came last November, via majority decision, to Koto and he'll be looking for revenger here. As for Koto his loss was a stoppage in March, and he'll be looking to return with a win. Very good match up. Ulsan, South Korea There isn't much action today but what there is is a really interesting bout from Ulsan on South Korea for the IBF Youth Super Bantamweight title. The bout will see Ye Joon Kim (10-1, 4), one of the very few Korean fighters worth making a note of, take on Japan's Yoshihiro Utsumi (12-6, 7) in a well matched test. On paper it's perhaps viewed as a straight forward win for Kim, though he was pushed all the way last time out by Vergil Puton in what was a surprisingly tough bout. Utsumi did lose last time out, though was up against Yasutaka Ishimoto, and did run Ishimoto very close. Another bout on this card will see Sa-Myung Noh (7-2, 1) battle Filipino fighter Jaymart Toyco (15-7, 11) in the co-feature bout. Sadly with this being a KBF show the rest of the details from the card are scarce to find and are unlikely to ever be put on boxrec.com. (Image courtesy of boxmob.jp)

Hyogo, Japan
To end the weekend Japanese fans in Hyogo get a busy day with 17 Rookie of the Year bouts. The bouts are set to take place on a couple of cards, both at the Incubation Center in Amagasaki. The first of the two shows is set to feature 10 bouts between Minimumweight and Bantamweight. On paper it's hard to pick many stand out bouts on this first show, though we are interested in a Light Flyweight bout between an unbeaten pairing as Sergio Yuri Akui (2-0-1) takes on Ruka Shobu (1-0-1, 1) in a Light Flyweight contest. Another notable Light Flyweight bout will see Kaminoko Okamura Kentokid (4-0-3, 2) battle Jin Katsue (2-1, 1), with Kentokid having the longest unbeaten record on the card. The second show was originally scheduled to have 9 bouts though two of the contests have falled through leaving us with 7 total contests between Minimumweight and Welterweight. For us this second card, despite having fewer bouts, looks the more exciting. The Welterweight bout here will see the unbeaten Daijiro Yuki (5-0, 2) battle against the wonderfully named Giraffe Kirin Kanda (3-1, 2) in what looks to be a genuine good match up. In a Featherweight bout the unbeaten Yuto Nagano (3-0, 2) will be battling against Yu Konomura (5-2-1, 1) in another tasty looking bout. Boy, what a busy Saturday we have ahead of us! Macau, Macao The main Asian show this Saturday comes from Macau where Top Rank are putting on solid card with an excellent main event and fights involving several fighters on the verge of a world title fight. The main event of the show will see Chinese slugger Ik Yang (19-0-0-1, 14) go for his first world title as he battles Argentina's Cesar Rene Cuenca (47-0-0-2, 2) in a bout for the vacant IBF Light Welterweight title. On paper this isn't a “world class” title bout but it's an interesting one all the same between unbeaten fighters with very different styles and mentalities in the ring. In a supporting bout, scheduled for 10 rounds, we'll see multi-weight world champion Nonito Donaire (34-4, 22) battle against Frenchman Anthony Settoul (20-3, 8) in what should be a mismatch in favour of the talented Filipino. For Donaire this is his second bout since being stopped by Nicholas Walters and it's likely to be a tune up contest before a potential world title fight with Englishman Scott Quigg, in a bout that is said to be pencilled in for later in the year. Another supporting bout will see Indonesian veteran Roy Mukhlis (27-4-3, 21) take on Denis Shafikov (35-1-1, 19) in a 10 round bout at 137lbs. Mukhlis is a late replacement for Mickey Bey, who vacated the IBF Lightweight title rather than fight Shafikov, and will come into this bout as a massive under-dog. There is however little to lose for Indonesian who may get himself a world title opportunity if he was to upset the touted Russian. One other supporting bout of note here will see Hong Kong's exciting Rex Tso (16-0, 8) taking on limit Thai Khunkiri Wor Wisaruth (21-11-1, 14) in what is really a stay busy fight for Tso, who is looking to get a world title bout later in the year. Tso should see off his limited Thai foe inside the distance, especially considering that Khunkiri has already been stopped 6 times, but we need to admit that Tso continues to blow hot and cold and may under-perform again here. Texas, USA In the US we get a Super Flyweight world title bout as unbeaten Filipino Arthur Villanueva (27-0, 14) takes on talented Puerto Rican McJoe Arroyo (16-0, 8) in a bout for the IBF title, which was recently vacated by Zolani Tete. The bout is a brilliant one on paper between two talented and unbeaten boxer-punchers who are each seeking to be recognised on the world stage. It's fair to say the winner here won't be recognised as a truly elite level fighter in the division, but they will throw their name into the hate for big fights against the likes of Naoya Inoue or Carlos Cuadras. Also in Texas fans will get the chance to see the US debut of Korean slugger Min Wook Kim (12-1, 9). Kim, a former OPBF 140lb champion, will be battling 31 year old Mexican southpaw Sergio Rivera (27-15-2, 17) in what should be a straight forward win for the Korean star. Although boxing in Korea is quiet at the moment Kim is a shining light and an exciting win against Rivera could help the Korean become a staple in the US where his talent and style will be appreciated. Colombia, USA On another US card we'll see the debut of American based Kazakh Shynggyskhan Tazhibay (0-0) who takes on the win-less Jasey Montalvo (0-5). This should be an easy win for the 23 year debutant though it's only the first step of his career and we know bigger and better bouts will come in the future. Pocheon, South Korea In South Korea fans will get a small show of novices with 6 novice bouts, all scheduled for 4 rounds. There really isn't any big names in action here, a given considering how poor Korean boxing is at the moment, though we are interested in a heavyweight bout between Sang Ho Kim (1-0, 1) and Choong Yul Lee (0-0) and a Super Featherweight contest between Jin Jun (1-0, 1) and Sung Il Lim (1-0, 1), in what is the only bout between fighters with a record bout each. Sawang Calero, Philippines In the Philippines fight fans get a very small show that is likely to go under the radar. The main event here will see Eduard Penerio (16-2, 11) take on the tough but limited JR Salvador (5-2-3). On paper this is a huge mismatch however Salvador has only been stopped once in his career, and that came more than 4 years ago. July 17th-Kgawa battles Saito on interesting Japanese show, Nawaphon and Hani Ansi also in action7/16/2015 Tokyo, Japan The most notable Asian card of the day is Dangan134 which is being held at the Korakuen Hall and features 4 bouts of real note, including a Japanese title fight and an intriguing bout between relative novices. The event of the card is the title bout which will see Takuya Kogawa (23-4, 13) battle against Hiroki Saito (9-4, 5) in a bout for the vacant Japanese Flyweight title. On paper it looks like a mismatch but the truth of the matter is that this is expected to be a very hard fought, exciting and competitive match up, possibly even the fight of the month. Stylistically Kogawa is always involved in fun fights and Saito has proven he's not a fan of taking a backwards step. The chief support bout will see former Japanese Super Featherweight title challenger Shingo Eto (16-3-1, 9) battle against experienced Filipino Edgar Gabejan (27-31-6, 9). Again this looks like a mismatch on paper but Gabejan is much better than his record suggests and holds a very notable win over current OPBF champion Vinvin Rufino. This could turn out to be a very interesting and tough contest. Another supporting bout will see the under-rated Hideo Sakamoto (16-1-2, 5) attempt to notch his 7th straight win as he takes on Hiroaki Teshigawara (9-1-1, 4), who has won his last 4. On paper this looks like an interesting match up but it's hard to imagine anything but a Sakamoto win as he moves towards a Japanese of OPBF title fight. Former Sakamoto foe Ryoichi Tamura (3-2-1, 1) is also on this card in a fantastic match up against Yusuke Suzuki (6-1, 4). This bout won't appeal to many outside of the hardcore Japanese domestic fans but it has the potential to be a genuine barn burner between two talented and over-looked fighters who could well both go on to advance to title level over the coming years. This really is a mouth watering bout for those who look beyond the “records” of fighters. Osaka, Japan As well as the show in Tokyo there is also one in Osaka. This card is much weaker but does have an interesting main event as recent Japanese title challenger Atsushi Aburada (10-7, 6) takes on Tetsuya Hisada (22-9-2, 12). On paper Hisada has the better record however he has struggled in recent times, with just 2 wins in his last in his last 7, Aburada on the other hand is coming in on an exceptional win win over Takeru Kamikubo. Pathhum Thani, Thailand We also get a relatively interesting bout from Thailand as Nawaphon Por Chokchai (28-0, 21) defends his WBC Asian Boxing Council Flyweight against Filipino foe Wiljan Ugbaniel (13-3-1, 4). Nawaphon hasn't impressed us in the way his record would suggest however he should over-come Ugbaniel, who was stopped last time out by Melvin Gumban. Socotra, Yemen In Yemen fans will get the chance to see the charismatic Hani Ansi (22-0-1, 20) take on an as yet un-named opponent for the UBO Super Flyweight title. From what we understand this was supposed to be the much anticipated Ansi Vs Ali Raymi bout, though Raymi's untimely passing left Ansi's team struggling to find a replacement foe. The Japanese action keeps coming this month and on July 15th we get a East Japan Rookie of the Year show with 12 bouts set to take place. The show, at the Korakuen Hall, will feature bouts between Light Flyweight and Middleweight with 4 of the bouts coming at 112lbs. We won't go into details about the rookies in action but it's great to see that the tournament is starting to pick up pace and within the next 7 days we'll have seen two more Rookie of the Year shows as the tournament really edges towards the regional finals. Tokyo, Japan We like the regular DANGAN shows especially the B class tournaments which put together good fights against solid fighters who have either professional with a good reputation from the amateur ranks or done enough in the professional game to be regarded as a “B class” fighter. We get the next B class tournament show this coming Monday at DANGAN 133 and it's especially notable for the debut of a man that some are tipping as a possible future title holder. That aforementioned debutant is Kazuto Takesako (0-0) who takes on the the more experienced Tomoyuki Yokota (5-3, 2) in an excellent looking 5 round match up. This bout is the main event and sees Takesako put under a lot of pressure to deliver, but if he does, and if he's as good as we've been told, then the odds are he will be fast tracked over the next 12 months. Another excellent B class match up, which takes place at 140lbs, will see Ken Otogawa (7-5, 5) battle against the hard hitting Minoru Iizuka (5-2, 5) in a between men who really cannot afford a loss given they are both in their mid 30's. An even more interestingly matched bout takes place at 118lbs where Masayasu Nakamura (4-1, 4) battles the light hitting Ken Kodama (4-1, 1) in a brilliantly even contest on paper. Another Bantamweight bout will see Sonin Nihei (5-1-2, 1) battle against Naoto Fujimoto (7-5-1, 4) in what should be a really good test for both men. The remaining B class bout will come at Super Bantamweight where Naoki Kumagai (5-2, 3) takes on Yoshifumi Tamaki (5-2-1, 2) in an enthralling and even looking matched up. As well as the B class bouts there will be a further 7 bouts on this card, all over the 4 round distance. (Image courtesy of tko.in.th) July 12th-Title action in Korea, promising fighters in the Philippines and action in Japan!7/11/2015 Incheon, South Korean For us the most interesting of three Asian shows this Sunday comes from South Korea where AK Promotions put on a Korean title double header as they continue to try and reinvigorate Korean boxing. The most notable of he two title bouts comes at 154lbs where touted teenager Kyoo Hwan Hwang (1-0, 1) battles against Chan Hee Park (5-5-1, 3). Many in Korea are tipping Hwang as their next potential star and the 5'11 youngster does seem to have plenty of talent and enjoy fighting, as shown in his debut against Jung Ho Jang and his from his days as an amateur. As for Park he snapped a 4 fight losing streak last time out when he beat Shingo Yabu and will be looking to score his biggest win here. The other title fight comes at 140lbs where Woo Min Won (6-1, 3) battles Jin Soo Kim (6-4, 3) in a bout for the vacant title. Coming in to this bout Kim has lost his last 2 though does hold a notable stoppage win win over Japanese based fighter Quaye Peter. On the other hand Won has fought just once in the last 5 years and may have a fair amount of ring rust. As well as the two title bouts there will also be a couple of novice bouts on the under-card. For fans wanting to tune into this Korean show, it will be streamed here on the AK Promotions youtube channel, as confirmed via an e-mail with promoter Andy Kim. Metro Manila, Philippines As well as the title action in Korea there will also be a title bout in the Philippines in what looks to be a mouth watering match up on a card that also features a really good looking support bout. The title bout will see the unbeaten and touted Neil John Tabanao (11-0, 7) take on the once beaten Randy Braga (15-1-1, 3) in a contest for the GAB Featherweight title. Braga was really unlucky last time out, losing a really close split decision to Macbute Sinyabi in South Africa and although he lost he did show that there was real talent there. For Tabanao this is a big step up but a win will put him in the mix for continental titles. In the chief support bout the unbeaten Jay Loto (9-0-1) will be taking on the testing Oliver Gregorio (9-5-2, 5) in what looks to be a good test for the unbeaten man. Gregorio has only won 1 of his last 6 but is better than his record suggests. Hyogo, Japan In Japan the Shinsei gym host their latest show. On paper it is a relatively poor show but there is a few bouts worth noting. In the main event we'll see former world title challenger Junichi Ebisuoka (23-18-6, 10) battle against former Japanese title challenger Masato Morisaki (9-4-1, 5). Coming in to this bout Ebisuoka looks to be a man ready to end his long career and he's without a win in more than 3 years however Morisaki was dominated last time out when he came up very short against Japanese Super Flyweight champion Sho Ishida, back on New Years Eve. In one of the chief support bouts fans will see Japanese ranked fighter Ryo Kosaka (9-3-1, 4) take on win-less Thai visitor Nongdear Sor Bangkhru (0-5) in what should be a straight forward win for Kosaka. Arguably the most interesting bout on this card is a catchweight bout between a couple of Japanese ranked fighters. The higher ranked of the two men is Kenta Sugimoto (9-7-1, 1), who is ranked at Light Flyweight, whilst the other man involved is Flyweight Shunji Nagata (10-13-2, 3). Coming in Sugimoto is in good form, having won his last 3, whilst Nagata has lost his last 2 however this should be a very good match up. (Image courtesy of AK Promotions) Where we have had some interesting days already this month we see things go on to a totally new gear on July 11th with the Philippines really dominating a very, very active day. Cebu, Philippines The best of the shows comes from Cebu where ALA will be running the next in the “Pinoy Pride” cards. Not only is the card a “big name” one but it features a little bit of everything from a recognised champion in a really exciting match up to action involving touted prospects and a major debut for a man tipped as a future Filipino star. The main event is the world title bout which sees long term WBO Light Flyweight kingpin Donnie Nietes (35-1-4, 21) defends his belt against former unified Minimumweight champion Francisco Rodriguez Jr (17-2-1, 11). This is a genuinely mouth watering match up between arguably the best, and most proven, fighter in the division and one of the most promising and battle hardened young fighters on the planet. Credit to both men for getting this one sorted. In the co-feature we'll see the much touted Mark Magsayo (10-0, 8) attempt to claim his first title. The talented Filipino will be up against Mexico's Rafael Reyes (16-4, 12) in a bout for the IBF Youth Featherweight title. Magsayo has, generally, impressed but this is a much more significant bout than his previous 10 and we expect to learn something new of the 20 year old here. Whilst Magsayo is the most touted prospect on the card there is a lot of attention being given to Kevin Jake Cataraja (0-0) who makes his professional debut against Ardi Tefa (6-4, 4). From what we've been told the 20 year old Cataraja is expected to progress quickly through the ranks and could find himself in the same position as Magsayo within the the next year or two. One other prospect on this card worthy of a mention is the heavy handed Vic Saludar (9-1, 7) who has failed to live up to expectation so far. The once touted Saludar will be up against Michael Kaibigan (3-2-2, 2). Metro Manila, Philippines In Metro Manila we have a number of intriguing matches with more Filipino's including a match up that may go down as the best domestic Filipino bout of the year, the card will also feature a pair of former world title challengers and a GAB title fight. The match up we most like is a 10 round bout for the WBC Youth Super Flyweight title between the unbeaten Jhaleel Payao (11-0, 6) and Michael Dasmarinas (20-2, 13). We've been impressed in the past by Dasmarinas who looked fantastic beating Hayato Kimura last year ans was very unlucky against Lwandile Sityatha. As for Payao he's impressed in sessions working with Ryosuke Iwasa and the reports are that he's a very promising young prospect. We really cannot say enough good words about this one. Another WBC strap will be on the line as former world title challenger Richard Claveras (12-1-2, 12) looks to defend his WBC Asian Boxing Council title against Benezer Alolod (16-7-5, 5). This will be Claveras's first bout since his loss, in a WBC world title fight, to Pedro Geuvara back in April and this is a tough return to action, despite Alolod not holding the most impressive of records. A third title bout is for the GAB Super Flyweight title as Rene Dacquel (14-4-1, 5) defends his title against Jonas Sultan (8-2, 5). On paper it's hard to side with Sultan but he has looked good recently with 4 straight wins, 3 by T/KO, and was unlucky in his most recent loss. Whilst it's not the best match up on the card it certainly isn't a bad one. A final title but here will see Rey Juntilla (20-6-4, 13) trading blows with Danilo Pena (26-21-4, 11) for the vacant LuzProBA Featherweight title. We've got to admit we can't see a win for Pena who is now little more than a domestic journeyman, and is 3 years removed from his last win. Juntilla may go on to achieve something more notable, given he is just 25, but we can't see him progressing to the levels that he'd like to get to. One final bout of note here will see former world title challenger Ardin Diale (28-9-3, 14) take on Indonesian veteran Heri Amol (35-23-4, 14). From what we understand Diale is awaiting to get a shot at the OPBF Flyweight title and will know that a win here really will put him within touching distance of a shot later in the year. It does need saying Amol has lost his last 9, including a defeat to the then debuting Ken Shiro, but is still a decent enough journeyman to get Diale some good rounds. Cotabato del Sur, Philippines Another Filipino show really looks very exciting with some fantastic match ups on a more domestic level. The most promising fighter on the card is the unbeaten John Vincent Moralde (12-0, 6), who will be fighting for the first time since his tragic bout with Brayd Smith. The unbeaten Moralde has been matched easily here against William George (10-22, 3) in what should be an easy win, but that allows Moralde's handlers to know where he's at in terms of his mental state. Another very touted young fighter on this card is 20 year old Jade Bornea (3-0, 2), who holds a notable amateur victory over Kosei Tanaka. Bornea will be facing his stiffest test to date as he goes up against fellow unbeaten Salatiel Amit (6-0-2, 4) in what looks to be a very well matched bout. Jade's brother Jake Bornea (9-1, 4) is also in a very good looking bout as he takes on Richard Rosales (9-2-2, 4) in a bout for the WBC Asia Pacific Youth Flyweight title. Jake is highly tipped, like his brother, though it's hard to overlook his 2014 loss to Raymond Tabugon. One other prospect worthy of note from this card is Jelbirt Gomera (8-0, 5) takes on the highly experienced, though limited Prell Tupaz (8-27-5, 1) in a bout for the PBF Super Bantamweight title. Gomera hasn't received the plaudits of many others but has slowly carved out a promising record and a title win here will almost certainly move him onto bigger fights. Whilst this card doe feature a lot of prospects one bout stands out as being a truly mouth watering clash. That bout pits former world title challenger Vergilio Silvano (20-4-1, 12) takes on the talented Jetro Pabustan (25-2-6, 7). On paper this is a brilliant fight with the winner almost certainly being moved towards a bigger and better fight whilst the loser will hover around the top of the domestic scene. Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany It's not in the Philippines that we have a world title as fight fans in Germany get the chance to see WBA Heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (33-2-1, 20) defending his title against German based Italian born fighter Francesco Pianeta (31-1-1, 17). On paper this looks mouth watering but in fairness Chagaev is not the fighter he once was and Pianeta was made to look like a journeyman in his last notable bout, a 6th round TKO loss to Wladimir Klitschko. Although it's a “heavyweight title fight” it's hard to see anyone even pretending that this features 2 of the divisions top fighters. Guerrero, Mexico One final bout comes from Mexico as Filipino Jhon Gemino (12-3-1, 5) takes on the touted and unbeaten Andres Gutierrez (31-0-1, 22). This is a huge task for Gemino, who has clearly been brought in to lose, but we can't criticise him for taking the fight. (Image courtesy of ALA Boxing) Tokyo, Japan Fans in Tokyo have had a few days of interesting action in Tokyo this week and it continues on Thursday with a yet another show at the Korakuen Hall. The show might not be one of the best on paper but there is enough in terms of interesting match ups for us to be genuinely interested by the action set to take place. In the main event fans will have the chance to see the limited but exciting “Zombie” Tatsuya Takahashi (19-6-4, 14) going up against the limited Kenta Toi (4-5, 1). Takahashi caught our attention last year when he was involved in a late FOTY contender against Kentaro Masuda and has been a fighter we've followed closely since. Given that performance we expect him to see off Toi here, though Takahashi didn't look too good last time out in a split decision draw with Ken Achiwa. In the chief support bout we get heavyweight action as former Japanese Heavyweight title contender Kotatsu Takehara (11-11-3, 5) takes on Korean visitor Kin Nam Kim (4-7-3, 2). It's hard to see the visitor winning here, especially given the fact he has lost his last 3, but we are unsure just how much Takahara has left and this could prove to be more interesting than we may first think. Another interesting bout will see the ranked Kinshiro Usui (22-4, 10) put his ranking on the line against the significantly younger Kota Sato (10-6-2, 5). On paper it's hard to see Sato winning however the 23 year old has shown an eye for the upset in the past and he may well manage to make the most of this opportunity against the 35 year old Usui. A really well matched Flyweight bout will see Mikiya Ishikawa (9-6, 1) battle fellow light puncher Kazuaki Moriya (11-7, 1) in a must win for both men. Moriya has lost his last 4 bouts, though has competed with good opposition such as Masayuki Kuroda and Shin Ono, whilst Ishikawa is 1-2 in his last 3. Both will know this is a winnable match up and both will likely know that a loss will be a huge set back. One more bout of note here will come at a contracted 119lbs where Atsushi Hosogai (7-8) will battle Keigo Soma (6-11-1, 2). This isn't the most mouth watering match up but it is still a solid one and should be a very interesting 8 rounder between two men who will know that they can win this one if they turn up and put in a good performance. Bangkok, Thailand In Thailand fans will get the chance to see Samson Tor Buamas (35-3, 17) in action as she defends her WIBA title against Filipino challenger Lady Love Sampiton (2-3, 1) in what should be little more than a routine win for the defending champion. (Image courtesy of boxmob.jp) New York, USA
Promising US based Kazakh Dauren Yeleussinov (2-0, 2) will look to continue his perfect start as he takes on Henry Beckford (2-2, 1) in what should be a straight for win for the promising unbeaten 29 year old. |
