We'll start with the Matsuda show which kicks off with 3 all debutant contests, in fact in total it has 4 all debutant contests and 9 debutants on show including Katsuya Takahashi (0-0) who fights Tomoya Tomiyama (4-1, 4).
Between the bouts featuring debutant contests (which, for those interested are bouts 1,2,3, 6 and 7) we will see low level action with Kohei Furusawa (2-4) fighting an opponent we're struggling to name and Kenta Matsui (2-1) fighting Jun Takigawa (1-0, 1).
In a Welterweight contest Brazil's Marcos Sogabe (3-7-1, 3) will be facing the unbeaten Takahito Osaka (3-0-2, 3) in what looks like an interesting contest despite Sogabe's record. This contest will be the final of eight bouts scheduled for 4 rounds.
The sole 6 rounder will see teenager Daisuke Hayakawa (4-2, 3) facing Tomoya Sato (4-6-1, 2) before the two 8 round co-main events.
The first of the headline bouts will see Yuji Shimizu (14-7-1, 1) battling Takashi Omae (10-3-5, 1) in a very interesting looking bout at at a catch-weight of 50KG. With of these men ranked by the Japanese Boxing Commission this is genuinely a noteworthy contest on a day with very few notable bouts.
In the final contest of the show Shinji Takayama (19-3, 11) battles Keita Ito (8-16-2, 4) in an attempt to defend his #9 national rankings. Takayama, who isn't a long way from a Japanese Featherweight title shot, will be expected to come out on top here though he has struggled when he's been unable to stop opponents and Ito is relatively tough.
The other show kicks off with Ryusuke Hoashi (1-3), who has lost his last two contests, taking on the unbeaten Takuya Fukuda (0-0-1) in one of six bouts scheduled for 4 rounds. In the second contest of the show Takuya Fujioka (2-2-1, 1) will be fighting Tenmei Serizawa (2-1, 2) before the debuting Yuuma Yasuda (0-0) faces Hideya Takayama (1-0-1, 1).
Although we're unsure who will be in the shows fourth contest the fifth is going to be Wataru Sako (3-1) against Yasuyuki Otagaki (2-1-2) in what is one of the shows most evenly matched contests. In the show's sixth, and final 4 rounder, contest we get see Ryoma Yasuda (2-0, 2) taking on a debutant.
In the first of three 8 round bouts we will see Kohei Maruoka (7-4-1, 1) fighting Kazuki Hashimoto (7-4, 3) in an amazingly well balanced contest. On paper this is an excellent match up though it does need to be noted that Mauroka is the man risking his national ranking going in to this contest.
The second of the 8 round bouts will see Ryota Kihara (6-6-4, 5) facing the ranked Shinichiro Morikawa (13-4-1, 9) in what looks like a mismatch in all honesty before we get the final bout, a real mismatch as Kazuhiro Nishitani (11-2, 5) faces Hiroki Tani (8-12-3, 3).
Sadly despite one bout looking great on this show the rest do leave something to be desired.
