The show in Thailand sees former WBC Minimumweight world champion Oleydong Sithsamerchai (48-1-1, 17) defending his WBC International Super Flyweight title for the 6th time as he takes on Japan's Hyobu Nakagama (16-10-3, 11).
Aged just 28 Oleydong has been on the scene for over a decade and it can't be long before he gets another world title bout, though of course he will need to get past Nakagama here.
In Nagakama's native Japan the Korakuen Hall card has 8 bouts listed (although only 4 are currently listed on boxrec.com).
Those that are listed on Boxrec are by far the most important.
The most notable fight on the card sees former Japanese Super Bantamweight champion Masaaki Serie (23-5, 10) taking on youngster Yuki Ozawa (10-1, 2). Ozawa comes in to this bout on the back of his sole loss so will be looking to get his career back underway whilst Serie looks to build on his victory over Gabriel Altarejos earlier this year.
The Serie/Ozawa is one of 3 bouts scheduled for 8 rounds with Shamgar Koichi (15-5-1, 9) facing recent Japanese title challenger Moon Hyun Yun (14-3-1, 2) and the hard hitting Kazuki Hayashi (7-3-1, 6) fighting Masayoshi Kotake (8-7-1, 4) in the others.
The card also geatures a 6 round contest as Takumi Koyama (6-2, 4) battles Yusuke Tsukada (5-3, 3). This bout looks like a very even match up on paper and should well be competitive.
We know that 4 other bouts are on the card, though the only one we know about is that Ueda Yugo (0-0) will be debuting against fellow debutant Terai Shunta (0-0).
