The show opened up with win-less novices colliding. As you expect when win-less fighters fight, one man did score their maiden victory, in this case it was Daichi Nakajima (1-2) as he over came Takaichi Tsujimoto (0-4) via a close decision.
The Nakajima/Tsujimoto bout was one of two bouts scheduled for 4 rounds with the other resulting in a third round KO victory for Yuji Itani (3-0, 3) who stopped Japanese based Brazilian Kener Lucas (1-2) at the 1:17 mark of the third.
Following the 4 round contests we then had two bouts of 6 rounds. It was in the 6 rounders that the show had it's only real upset as Taisei Higashi (5-6, 4) out pointed Hiroki Taniguchi (4-2-1, 1). Not only was it an upset in terms of the winner/loser but it was also an upset in the fact that Higashi managed to take the first decision victory of his career.
In the second bout scheduled for 6 rounds "normal service" was resumed with Hikaru Matsuoka (4-1-3, 1) out pointing Shinya Takahashi (6-8-1) in a clear victory.
The final two bouts were both scheduled for 8 rounds though only went a combined 3 rounds due to two very early blow outs. The quickest of these saw Yasunori Kishigami (8-1-1, 5) blasting Thai debutant Tany Sithsaithong (0-1) in just 62 seconds whilst the other saw Takahiro Yamamoto (11-3, 8) stopping fellow Japanese fighter Ippei Aoki (10-3, 6) in the final minute of the second round.
