The most notable bout of the day saw female fighter Shindo Go (12-2, 8) shut out Hungarian Renata Szebeledi (16-10, 10) and claim the WBC Flyweight title in a victory that really helped put Go on the map. The Japanese female is really proving herself as one of the best in the division and a bout with Riyo Togo seems the obvious next step.
The other bout of note saw Yoichi Oguma (14-5, 2) out point Ryuji Miyazaki (11-7-2, 4) in a close 8 round contest. The majority decision really was a tight affair with little to seperate the two men, in fact there was only a single point on one card and a full round on the other.
Of the novices on the card only Takuya Yamamoto and Ryoma Yasuda (both 1-0, 1) managed to force eafly victories.
In the other card, a full 8 bout show there was only novices facing off in 4 round bouts other than a solitary 6 rounder between Yamato Uchinono (3-2-5, 1) and Masaki Hirai (3-9-3, 2) with Uchinono claiming a clear decision. The two men had faced off previously, scoring a draw back in March 2012.
Of the novices only Takanari Hamamura (1-1, 1) managed to secure a stoppage taking out Kazuhiro Ota (0-1) in 55 econds.
