The only card that took place today was in Lanao del Norte, Philippines and featured 3 bouts lasting less than a combined 8 rounds as all 3 bouts finished early.
The most experienced man on the card was Fernando Lumacad (28-6-3, 12) who took out Dondon Navarez (8-19-3, 3) in the 3rd of a scheduled 8 rounder. This was Lumacad's first victory in 3 bouts after having been beaten by Carlos Cuadras and Felipe Orucuta and actually just his 2nd victory in 5 bouts having also been defeated by Hernan Marquez in recent bouts.
The quickest victory on the card was scored by Jether Oliva (18-1-1, 10) who took out Ronnie Sunido (4-9, 1) inside the opening round. This was Oliva's first fight since losing an IBF world title tilt back in August 2011 to Ulises Solis and we are certainly glad to see him back in the ring.
For us however the most impressive fighter on the card was teenage sensation Harmonito Dela Torres (8-0, 5) who blasted out the experienced Elmer Colve (6-26-2, 2) in 3 rounds. We're very excited about the young "El Huracan de Gensan" though would like to see him matched a little tougher than this in the near future.
We try and give you the latest results on all the fights from Asia.
