In an under-the-radar show in Thailand today Thai fans had a chance to catch 4 bouts in the 13 Coins Resort in Bangkok. The card, far from being anything outstanding, was a nice bit of early week action in Thailand.
The show's main bout saw Chalermpol Singwancha (4-0, 4) scoring his fourth stoppage victory in as many months as he defeated Thai based Iranian Mohamadreza Hamze (3-5) in the seventh of a scheduled 8 rounds. Sadly for Hamze this was his fourth defeat from 5 contests this year.
The main bout was the only one on the show scheduled for 8 rounds with the others all set fro 6 rounds. Surprisingly only one actually went the distance and that was a female bout which saw Thai teenager Keanpetch Superchamps (5-5-1) taking a decision over Japanese debutant Noriko Watanabe (0-1).
Watanabe wasn't the only debutant on the losing side as Leo Tomas (0-1) also had a debut to forget being stopped in 2 rounds by fellow debutant Saisilek Saksipung (1-0, 1) who got off to the perfect start in his career. This was joined by a 5th round TKO upset of Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat (30-14, 20) who was stopped by Petchsuriya Looksaikongdin (7-8, 3).
We try and give you the latest results on all the fights from Asia.
