In the shows headline bout, an 8 round contest between Tatsuya Takahashi (15-4-2, 10) and Yuta Nakagawa (10-4-1, 6) we were left with a stalemate, the result of a split decision. Neither man could really complain at the result as there really was little in it (reflected by the judges score cards which were all razor thin).
The card also featured 2 bouts scheduled for 6 rounds. Only one of those bouts went the distance with Yoshihisa Yokota (5-9-1, 2) taking a narrow decision over Tetsuya Koyama (5-4, 2). The other scheduled 6 round contest saw Masashi Noguchi (7-5-1, 4) stopping Tsubasa Matsudo (4-7-4, 1) in the 3rd. Disappointingly this was Matsudo's 3rd loss in 4 bouts whilst it extended Noguchi's undefeated run to 4 bouts.
The remaining 6 bouts on the card were all scheduled for the 4 round distance. They saw unanimous decision wins for Masamiki Sato (3-1-1, 1) over Ikumi Murakami (2-3-1), Kazuki Sanpei (1-1) over Yuta Utagawa (0-2) and Sosuke Sakata (1-0) over Yasutomo Katsuki (0-1) in an all debutant match up.
Osu Inoue (4-1-1, 1) claimed the only split decision victory on the card as he defeated the previously unbeaten Masahiro Kobayashi (2-1-1, 1).
Once beaten fighters Satoru Todaka (2-1, 1) and Yuki Matsudo (2-1, 1) both came out triumphant in their bouts due to 3rd round victories. Todaka stopped Iwashi Miyahara (1-2) late in round 3 in his bout whilst Matsudo scored an excellent KO over the more experienced Michio Oki (2-5, 2). Sadly for Oki it was his 4th career stoppage loss and his 3rd successive.
