It's rare for Thursday's to have big bouts but this Thursday sees the 4th professional contest of rising star Ryota Murata (4-0, 4). Murata is a real star in Japan and although he's still some way from having a world title fight his bouts are big news.
Despite just being a professional novice Murata is headlining shows and being relied on as the sole selling point in the show's poster, as you can see here courtesy of ticket.pia.jp, the website that are selling tickets for Murata's bout with Jesus Angel Nerio.
Although the poster is far from a bright one or even eye catching it is brooding dark effort that looks effective but simple. We won't say it's great but it's certainly a solid effort and one that attempts to prove just how high the profile of Murata really is. To call him a national star is genuinely selling him short and the folks behind the poster here seem full aware of that.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
