South Africa's Zolani's Tete (18-3, 16) arrived in Japan yesterday arriving at the Kansai International Airport ahead of his IBF Super Flyweight title fight, on July 18th, with Teiru Kinoshita (19-0-1, 3).
The late arrival to Japan may prove to be an issue for Tete but is unlikely to be his biggest problem given that he has admitted he knows very little about Kinoshita. What Tete has said is that he struggled to find video of Kinoshita, a problem we have also had. This could make the development of a game plan very difficult for Tete with the South African effectively fighting a "mystery opponent".
Despite the issues Tete has had in evaluating Kinoshita he says he is in perfect condition for the fight and only has a little bit of weight to shed for the fight this coming Friday.
For those who are wanting to see a little bit of Kinoshita in action we have got the video of his bout with Petchklongphai Sor Thantip available to watch here.
