Today, ahead of their bout the two men took part in their wiegh in, and both men made weight for the contest.
On the scales champion, who holds a lofty ranking with the IBF, was bang on the limit of 154lbs. He looked in good shape and seems to be fully aware that whilst he's the favourite he will still need to in a good performance if he's looking to build on his 2016 upset win over Takayuki Hosokawa, with that win netting him the title and his world ranking.
The Thai challenger, who was dwarfed by the champion, waswell under the limit, coming in at around 153.25lbs. Despite being within 1lb of the limit he looked like he was significantly smaller than the champion, almost as if he was a fighting moving up several weights at once.
Sadly for those hoping to watch this bout it sadly doesn't appear to be getting aired anywhere, including the online service.
