The bout, a stay busy fight for Oguni, failed to last long with Oguni closing the show almost as soon as it started, with a left hand to the body.
Whilst the bout was a short one it gave Oguni his third successive stoppage win, and comes in the wake of his impressive stoppage win against Mike Tawatchai earlier this year. It also gave Oguni a platform to talk the the audience where he stated that he was after IBF Super Bantamweight champion Jonthan Guzman (22-0-0-1, 22), who recently stopped Shingo Wake in Japan. A bout between Oguni and Guzman could see Oguni get a long awaited world title fight, however the Japanese fighter would be the clear under-dog, especially given Guzman's recent performance.
The man in charge of Oguni's career has stated that he will help Oguni chase that world title bout and it seems that they will be working together to formulate a game plan to over-come the world champion, who Oguni seemed to suggest had holes that he could make the most of.
As for Macadumpis this was his 7th stoppage loss, and the quickest of those so far.
For fans interested in watching this one, it will be aired on boxingraise tomorrow.
