Next week we'll see WBO Super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (14-0, 12) [井上 尚弥] defending his title against French challenger Yoan Boyeaux (41-4, 26). The bout, which will be Inoue's 7th defense of the title, will see the challenger fight on Japanese for the first time.
Earliertoday Boyeaux landed in Japan to finish his preparations for the bout against the "Monster", and looked in great spirits for the biggest fight of his career.
The Frenchman will take part in his public work out tomorrow, Christmas day, and will only have a few more days to totally preparefor the challenger of the Japanese super star, who looks to move on to bigger and better things in 2018.
For those curios Panama's Gilberto Pedroza (18-3-2, 8) arrived on Friday for his upcoming bout,on the same show, against WBC Light Flyweight champion Ken Shiro (11-0, 5) [拳 四朗]. This means all 4 of the main event fighters are now just putting finished touches to their preparations for the bouts which should have multi-million audience numbers and be a smash hit on Japanese TV.
