Earlier today in Korea saw the weigh in for tomorrow's IBF Asia Super Bantamweight title fight between charismatic Korean fighter Ye Joon Kim (11-1-2, 5) and under-rated Japanese fighter Yoshihiro Utsumi (12-6-3, 7).
Sadly we've not been given the weigh in particulars but we have been reliably informed that both men made weight for the bout with out any issues, in fact all the fighters on the card made weight ahead of their bouts.
For Kim this is a bout in which he must impress after struggling last time out with Filipino Virgil Puton. He's seen, by those in charge of the KBC, as the face of their organisation and his success is possibly going to make, or break, the KBC in their battles with the Korean boxing factions.
For Utsumi this is a great chance to show just how misleading his record is. Although on paper he's not outstanding he did give Yasutaka Ishimoto a good fight earlier this year and is much better than the numbers on his record suggests.
From what we under-stand this show will be on MBC + Sports in Korea from 7PM local time and will feature at least 1 other international bout.
