The month of September looks like one of the most packed in recent memory with some brilliants all over the world. For Japanese fans one of the key dates is September 16th when they get a world title double header with WBC Bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (25-0-2, 17) [山中慎介] defending his title against Anselmo Moreno (36-4-1, 12) and Hozumi Hasegawa (35-5, 15) [長谷川 穂積] challenging WBC Super Bantamweight champion champion Hugo Ruiz (36-3, 32).
Today it was officially announced that the tickets for the show were sold out, more than a month before the fight. It was also revealed that tickets will not be sold on the day due to the sell out nature of the show.
The card is expected to include Hasegawa's final bout with many suspect win, or lose, the iconic fighter will retire, though in fairness it's not the first time fans have thought that. Given that Yamanaka and Moreno had a really good bout a year ago that alone could have done great tickets numbers but with both being rolled into one show there is little wonder that fans have snapped up the tickets which provided some value for money.
