At the weight in it was Nicklow who was the heavier man weighing in at 162lbs, exactly on the contracted limit and a full 1lb heavier than Murata. Although the heavier man Nicklow was the shorter man and it seemed that Murata did tower over him somewhat at the weigh in.
This bout, a 10 rounder, will be aired on the Fuji TV broadcast and Murata has promised an early finish of his American foe in the hope that it will make space on the broadcast for other fighters on the show to have highlights of their bouts shown. For Nicklow this is a chance to score his biggest career victory, though his a major under-dog and is widely priced at 16/1 with various online bookies.
