Tomorrow fight fans in Seoul will get the chance to catch "War of the Ring", a multi-national card featuring fighters from Korea, Japan and Indonesia.
The card isn't a huge one but does feature a number of notable names, including former world title challenger Satoshi Hosono (31-2-1, 20) [細野 悟], who will be up against Indonesian veteran Rasmanudin (19-15-3, 10), and the highly touted Koki Inoue (3-0, 3) [浩樹井上], who will be facing Korean local Hyun Woo Yuh (5-1, 5) in the best looking bout on paper.
For fans wanting to watch this to be on TV there is some bad-news/good-news. Firstly it will not be aired on TV however it will, instead, be aired over youtube as part of a deal between Won Promotion, the promotional outfit behind the card and youtube channel VOMIO.
The decision to put this "on the web" as a live broadcast continues a growing trend from Korea where shows are being streamed over youtube on a free basis, a strategy that has been done by AK Promotions among others, and seems to be a concept that will help grow boxing in Korea.
For those interested in the card we have embedded a stream below, which features a running timer if you press play, or alternatively you can go here to watch it on youtube.
