Between now and the end of the the year fight fans are in for some real treats across a number of divisions. For Korean fans one of those treats will see one of their own fight for a world title, for the first time since November 2013.
That bout will see Korean slugger Young Kil Bae (26-4-1, 21) take on WBC Minimumweight champion Wanheng Menayothin (39-0, 14), who will be defending his title for the third time since claiming it in November 2014.
Whilst it's hard to see Bae upsetting Wanheng it is great to see a Korean in a high profile bout like this, even if it's not viewed by many as being a competitive match up.
For those wondering, this bout was originally slated to happen much earlier this year though Bae was pulled out of that one due to an injury.
