Next Tuesday sees one of the most interesting match ups of the year as WBC Bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (23-0-2, 17) battles against former long term WBA “super” champion Anselmo Moreno (35-3-1, 12). The bout it one that has connected with the hardcore fans online and has been a big talking point in Japan, where Yamanaka is one of the most popular champions.
Whilst the fight ins't being aired in either Europe or North America we know fans will be interested in viewing the bout. For those fans we're happy to report that the bout will be aired on NTV, which is admittedly no surprise with many of Yamanaka's bouts airing on the channel, and will be aired from 7PM Japanese time. That's 11AM in the UK and 6AM in New York, which perhaps means that many fans in the US will have to set an alarm to catch the fight live.
From what we under-stand the main event will be the only bout aired on the broadcast, which is a shame considering the genuinely good looking Super Featherweight bout between Kenichi Ogawa (15-1, 13) and Deivi Julio Bassa (17-0, 10).
