Earlier today we were informed that the touted Mongolian star Tugstsogt Nyambayar (1-0, 1) would be returning to the ring on April 18th, next Saturday, as part of the under-card for the contest between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (48-1-1-1, 32) and Andrzej Fonfara (26-3-0-1, 15).
At the moment details regarding the bout are scarce though it's thought that the bout will either be a 4 or a 6 rounder with his opponent yet to be announced, though not expected to be anyone too testing for the former amateur standout.
Nyambayar debuted as a professional earlier this year, on the undercard of the Andre Berto Vs Josesito Lopez card, and made an immediate impact by blowing away Gabriel Braxton in just 130 seconds.
Sadly Nyambayar's debut was untelevised and it's likely that his upcoming bout will also be off TV, though hopefully it won't be long until he's given the opportunity to show his ability to a larger audience than the almost empty arena that his first contest took place in. Although the Braxton fight wasn't shown on TV there was some fan footage of the bout which can be seen below.
