Yesterday saw the official weigh in for this weekend's WBO Bantamweight title fight between unbeaten champion Tomoki Kameda (29-0, 18) and Thailand's former champion Pungluang Sor Singyu (46-2, 31).
On the scales both men looked in amazing condition and both also made the weight with no serious issues. Tomoki, who has been in the US for several weeks, made 118lbs dead on and looked genuinely sensational as he posed for pictures after making weight. Punglunag, who has had a somewhat disrupted preparation, came in lighter at closer to 117lbs though looked in equally as impressive shape.
From what we understand the weigh in saw no changes in the odds and Tomoki is still a clear favourite priced at 1/9 with a number of British bookies. Pungluang, still the under-dog, looks to be almost written off priced at 13/2. Whilst we understand Pungluang hasn't had great preparation the odds are still surprisingly wide for a bout that we view as being very competitive on paper.
