Earlier today, 15th, there were several reports coming out of Japan that unbeaten Japanese fighter Teiru Kinoshita (19-0-1, 3) would like to fight former 3 weight world champion Koki Kameda (32-1, 17), if Teiru wins his upcoming fight.
Kinoshita fights this coming Friday in an IBF Super Flyweight world title fight against hard hitting South African Zolani Tete (18-3, 16). We know that if Kinoshita wins he will have to face mandatory challenger McJoe Arroyo (15-0, 8) though after that he is free to fight who he wants and may try and lure Koki for a fight if the he managed to beat both Tete and Arroyo.
At the moment Kinoshita is focused on the Tete fight though if he wins it's clear his future is very bright and whether he gets a Koki fight or not there will be options out there with with the likes of Rex Tso, Jerwin Ancajas and Yohei Tobe all looking to move up a level and get a title fight of their own.
