On September 16th Japanese fans get a brilliant card headlined by a pair of world title fights, Shinsuke Yamanaka (25-0-2, 17) [山中慎介] defending his WBC Bantamweight title against Anselmo Moreno (36-4-1, 12) and Hozumi Hasegawa (35-5, 15) [長谷川 穂積] challenging WBC Super Bantamweight champion champion Hugo Ruiz (36-3, 32). We've known about the bouts for about a month but it wasn't until today that we managed to get the official poster for the card.
The poster confirms that the bout will be shown under the "The Real World Boxing Premium" tag, with the show being the 24th in the series, though sadly it does lack in some notable ways.
The two Japanese fighters are both featured on the poster, no surprise there and no issue with their inclusion, but the poster could have done with also including images of Moreno and Ruiz who feel like they have been over-looked with only their names, in Japanese, appearing on the poster.
Whilst their are flaws with the poster it is nice to see that Teiken have already got the poster sorted, more than a month away from the bout and that they are pushing the show which should have it's under-card announced shortly. At the moment very little is known about the supporting bouts, but with it being a Teiken card we'd be shocked if at least one notable name wasn't involved somewhere on the show.
