Earlier today we stumbled on an interesting image. The image seems to promote an upcoming bout featuring unbeaten PABA Welterweight champion Teerachai Kratingdaenggym (29-0, 23) and former world title challenger Kaizer Mabuza (25-14-3, 15), of South Africa.
From what can grasp the bout appears to be set for April 9th and, if we understand the poster properly, it will serve as a major step up for Teerachai who does lack a really notable win. Sadly however Mabuza is several years removed from his last notable win, an 8 round decision against Isaac Hlatshwayo back in March 2013.
Mabuza is best known for his 2011 loss to Zab Judah, though prior to that loss he did score back-to-back victories over Serhiy Fedchenko and Kendall Holt, with those wins leading to his world tile bout with Judah.
The 22 year old Teerachai is viewed as one of the most promising "bigger" fighters in Thailand though has been unable to really prove how good he is due to a lack of competition. In his 29 fight career his most notable wins have come against Randy Suico and Behzod Nabiev. A win against Mabuza would be a major win, even if Mabuza isn't what he once was.
