On Wednesday Japanese teenager Takuma Inoue (4-0, 1) took part in a public practice session ahead of his upcoming OPBF Super Flyweight title fight with Filipino foe Mark Anthony Geraldo (31-5-3, 14).
The session, which took place at the Ohashi gym, saw Takuma spar 3 rounds with domestic Flyweight contender Yusuke Suzuki and go through a pad session with father and trainer Shingo Inoue.
As well as the training session there was also comments made by Takuma's manager Hideyuki Ohashi who explained the difference between reigning world champion Naoya Inoue and his younger brother Takuma. It was also made clear that if Takuma wins the OPBF title against Geraldo then the intention is to get him a world title fight in his 6th professional contest, the same as Naoya did.
The final revelation regarding the bout is that it will be televised. Unfortunately however fans need to wait until July 18th, when it will be aired on Fuji TV.
