According to Panamanian website http://www.diaadia.com.pa a deal for a rematch between Japan's Takashi Uchiyama (24-1-1, 20) [内山 高志] and WBA Super Featherweight "super" champion Jezreel Corrales (20-1-0-1, 8) is said to be "98%" agreed, with the two teams just putting finishing touches to the deal to secure the rematch.
The bout, if it's finalised, will be taking place in Tokyo on December 31st and will be a card that will also feature WBA Light Flyweight champion Ryoichi Taguchi (245-2-1, 11) [田口良一].
The bout will be Corrales' first defense of the title that he won earlier this year, when he surprisingly blew away Uchiyama in 2 rounds, ending Uchiyama's 6-year long reign as the champion., and he'll be looking to prove that his win wasn't a fluke and wasn't down to Uchiyama being under-prepared. For the popular Japanese puncher the rematch will give him a chance to reclaim the title that he first won in 2011.
The bout still isn't set in stone, but it's clear that there is work going on behind the scenes to get this bout sorted in the near future.
