At the press conference today it was made clear that if Muranaka mises the weight for the bout that he will be held personally responsible, and there is talk that he will be ordered to repay ¥5,000,000, around £37,000. A real reason for him to make sure he doesn't mess up his weight as he has done in the past.
The press conference also saw Muranaka and his team talk about tactics and sparring partners. They revealed that their man will be getting ring time with a real dream team including WBA Light Flyweight champion Ryoichi Taguchi's (25-2-2, 11) [田口良一] and WBO Super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (12-0, 10) [井上 尚弥].
