From what we understand her opponent is a fellow Korean who, apparently, has an unbeaten record of 8-0-0-1 (5) though we've not got the name. For what it's worth we have reached out to WIBA leader Ryan Wissow for clarification though received no actual answer, unfortunately.
For Hong this will be her second bout since losing the WBO female Minimumweight title to Mako Yamada earlier this year. Sadly Boxrec.com don't list her previous bout, a technical draw with fellow Korean Dan Bi Kim.
At the moment we are expecting to see 10 bouts on the show though they haven't all been formerly announced. From what we under-stand however a lot of those bouts do feature debutants as the KBF continue to try and reboot boxing in Korea.
Hopefully more details from this show will be released sooner rather than later though with Korean boxing in it's current condition it's hard to say just what will happen with the countries boxing scene.
