Our Thai sources have informed us that negotiations for a rematch between Thai teenager Stamp Kiatniwat (14-0, 6), the current WBA interim Flyweight champion, and Dominican puncher Gregorio Lebron (13-3, 11) are well underway with a date a December looking likely for the bout.
The men, who first fought back in July, were ordered into a rematch following an appeal from Lebron's team who felt their man had been unfairly judged the lose in Loei, Thailand. The judges for the first bout gave Stamp the win by majority decision with some claiming it was a robbery and a home town decision, though interestingly all 3 judges were from neutral countries.
From what we understand the suggested date for the bout is December 10th and it would take place in Thailand, however a deal isn't yet finalised and there is still a few formalities to be agreed.
