Earlier today we spotted the first set of odds being released for the WBC Super Flyweight world title fight in Mexico between Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (27-3-1, 25) the defending champion, and Carlos Cuadras (29-0, 24), the mandatory challenger.
The odds, issued by Bet365, have Cuadras as the favourite priced at 8/15 to win the fight and take the title from the hard hitting Srisaket. The Thai is the under-dog at 6/4 which perhaps reflects the fact he's the away fighter more than anything else. At 6/4 he'd likely have been made the favourite at home in a bout that even the bookies seem to view as a very even contest.
Sadly at the moment it's only bet365 with odds for the fight though we'd suggested that if others "join in" on the action they'd also have Cuadras as the small favourite considering his home field advantage.
