Among the more notable fights taking place on that card is the main event between the JBC and OPBF ranked Sho Nakazawa (8-0, 4) [中澤 奨] and Japanese based Korean Teiru Atsumi (6-1, 2)* [テイル渥美].
The two men involved in that bout made weight for the contest with Nakazawa seeming very confident of picking up the win and moving on to an OPBF title fight later in the year, with the Osaka Teiken man suggesting that he was wanting to move on to a fight with current OPBF champion Shun Kubo.
Whilst it's clear that Nakazawa does have title fights on his mind he was clear that his immediate aim was tomorrow's fight and he has stated that he's looking for a KO as he attempts to make a statement.
Another man promising a KO on the same card is the unbeaten Juiki Tatsuyoshi (3-0, 2) [辰吉 寿以輝], who was seemingly annoyed by the fact his opponent, Kazuki Sanpei (3-3, 1) [三瓶 一樹] arrived late to the weigh in. As a punishment for Sanpei's lateness Tatsuyoshi has stated that he's going for a KO, with the likeliness being that he will then move onto a B class license.
*Atsumi's record has been reported as 9-1.
