Earlier today saw a lot of news from Japan regarding the upcoming WBC Bantamweight title bought between unbeaten champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (22-0-2, 16) and unbeaten Argentinian challenger Diego Ricardo Santillan (23-0, 15).
Firstly was the news in the about Santillan, known as "El Fantasma", or "The Ghost/The Phantom", arriving in Japan early this morning. The relative unknown gave some quotes to the media and sounded very confident of getting the upset and taking the title back to Argentina.
Later in the day Yamanaka held a public training session in which he looked sharp and later gave his own quotes to the media suggesting that he was wary of Santillan's right uppercut. He also said he wasn't aware of why Santillan was known as the "The Ghost", somethign that has seemed to tickle the Japanese rpess.
It was also revealed that Yamanaka would be coming to the ring to a song entitled "Heart Beat" by J Soul Brothers. The musical outfit features ELLY, the son of former world title challenger Carlos Elliot, with whom Yamanaka had recently been featured on a TV show.
