Earlier today in Tokyo fans had the opportunity to see 2012 Olympic Middleweight champion Ryota Murata (5-0, 4) take part in his open training session ahead of his upcoming bout, against Jessie Nicklow (24-4-3, 8), on December 30th.
At the training session Murata worked on the mitts, sparred with American fighter Mike Jones and hit around a heavy bag before giving a lot of time to the the press to answer questions.
Among the comments made to the press were comments regarding his preparation for the bout which saw him sparring with 5 international sparring partners, including Adrian Luna Flores. He thanked them for helping him getting into the best condition that he's been in as a professional.
