One of those sparring partners is Mexico's Adrian Luna Flores (17-3-1, 11), a former foe of Murata who actually survived 10 rounds with the Japanese fighter back in September. Having proven his toughness in their fight together Flores has been added to Murata's usual sparring partners Mike Jones (26-2, 19) and Lionell Thompson (15-3, 9), both from America.
From what we under-stand the bout with Nicklow could well be Murata's final bout in Japan with the expectation being that he will be fighting in the US early next year to fight against a world ranked foe. Before then however Murata will have to get past Nicklow and we'd guess that the performance against Nicklow will decide the next for Murata and allow his team to decide whether or not he needs another bout at this level before progressing onto bigger, better and tougher fights.
