The most notable of those bouts is the 8 round main event between the experienced Ryota Kajiki (28-9, 19) [加治木 了太] and the big punching Taiki Minamoto (11-5, 10) [源 大輝]. Both of these fighters have challenged for Japanese titles in recent years, with Kajiki being stopped in 7 by Daiki Kaneko in 2012 and Minamoto coming up short against Yukunori Oguni last year. Obviously the two men will both be lookign to reach that level again with a win tomorrow.
At the weigh both men made the contract weight for the bout, with both coming in just under the Featherweight limit. It's weight that Kajiki has been fighting at regularly in recent years and it's also a weight that seems to allow the taller Minamoto to fully fill out his frame, which has resulted in him looking in incredible shape. This may be the Japanese sleeper bout of the weekend and could well turn out to be a hidden gem for Osakan fight fans this year.
