On the scales Pungluang was bang on the limit and looked good on the scales and very relaxed at the whole event. The home fighter appeared to look confident, despite know that this will be one of the toughest bouts of his career so far.
Akaho came in slightly lighter than his foe, and although he too looked calmed, he looked slightly gaunt on the scales. Despite the gaunt look he too was very confident and said, once again, that he was there to knock Pungluang out.
Coming in to the bout history certainly favours the Thai fighter, after all no Japanese fighter has ever won a world title in Thailand. Despite that the visitor does seem confident and we're expecting that confidence to show in what will, potentially, be a fantastic bout.
For those wanting to watch this bout will be aired as part of the Channel 7 broadcast at 2PM Thai time.
