Earlier today, ahead of the bout, Reveco took part in his open training session. The session, which saw a lot of attention being turned towards Sosa's manager Natalia Rivero, wasn't the most intense but did see Sosa enjoy a good work out.
The Argentinian fighter sparred a couple of rounds with Ioka's stablemate Sho Ishida, who also fights this coming Sunday and also worked on the mitts with older brother, and former fighter, , who is known in Japan for losing a decision to Joichiro Tatsuyoshi back in 1998. Despite the fact the spar was a short one it seems to have revealed Sosa's two strongest punches, the left hook downstairs and a straight right up top as well as his relatively limited foot work.
Sosa, so far, has made his name at Super Flyweight though seems to have comfortably dropped the 3lbs needed to make Flyweight for this bout. He sounded relaxed and confident and doesn't seem to have struggled to make the weight for what looks to be a tough first defense for Ioka.
