The weigh in saw Tabtimdaeng come in comfortably inside the Bantamweight limit weighing 117lbs whilst McDonnell was half a pound heavier at 117.5lbs.
Unfortunately Tabtimdaeng isn't only the lighter man on the scales but was also significantly shorter, as seen in the image. The height, reach and weight disadvantages won't help the Thai who will be fighting the most talented opponent of his career anyway.
Whilst we want to say good luck to Tabtimdaeng we don't see him being able to hang with the talented Englishman who has been priced as a very prohibitive 1/5 favourite, having dropped slightly from 2/9, which was the original price.
