The most notable of those men was WBC Bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (22-0-2, 16) who there ahead of his upcoming defense against Argentinian challenger Diego Ricardo Santillan (23-0, 15), who also attended the event. Others there included the unbeaten Sho Nakazawa (5-0, 4), who will be in a very interesting 8 rounder with Alexander Cazares (9-3, 3) and Juiki Tatsuyoshi (0-0), who will be making his debut against Tadao Iwaya (1-2).
The event saw some interesting comments being made by the men there with Tatsuyoshi sounding highly confident in his power ahead of his debut whilst Yamanaka seemed to suggest he was confident of showing the difference the champion, himself, and the challenger, hinting they were on different levels.
