The poster, or at least this version of the poster, makes it clear that this is Kosei's show with a huge image of the Japanese teenager, and his name in big and clear writing at the top.
Whilst Yedras is featured in the poster, in a small inset picture, he seems to have been tacked on as if to say "well, this guy will be here two, but he'll be squashed".
As well as the images of the two fighters the poster makes things regarding the time and date very clear as well as the main match up.
Sadly for western fans the poster also makes it clear that you're going to struggle to get the chance to see the fight live with CBC being the television provider, as they have been through out Kosei's career. CBC aren't a national channel and aren't an easy one to stream. Instead they are a regional affiliate of TBS and cover only the Nagoya area. This will likely mean that many fans who follow Tanaka won't be able to view his fight until it becomes downloadable online. We need to say that it is a disappointment that we won't all be able to watch this little big of Japanese boxing history, however at least we know it will be televised.
Fingers crossed that it doesn't take long to get this one online and that Kosei quickly establishes himself as a national boxing treasure, just like Naoya Inoue did last year.
It's official! Kosei Tanaka will fight Julian Yedras on May 30th!
