Earlier today we noticed that online betting firm Paddy Power were offering odds on the winner of the upcoming WBA Bantamweight title fight between Thailand's Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat (52-2, 34) and British foe Jamie McDonnell (23-2-1, 10).
Whilst we expect more bookies to join in, and odds to change a lot by fight time, the opening price on McDonnell appears to be 2/9 making him a huge favourite over the Thai who is priced at 3/1. Whilst these were identical prices to the recent Kazuto Ioka/Amnat Ruenroeng fight we don't expect a similar upset, in fact we don't give Tabtimdaeng any chance at all of upsetting the Brit.
At the moment there are "method of victory" odds or round betting markets but we'd imagine they would all become available nearer to fight night which is of course on May 31st, still almost 3 weeks away.
Note-Odds used for informational purposes only and we do not advocate gambling.
