Originally it was speculated that Pacquiao would be making his return on November 8th, also in the Venetian Casino & Resort, though that has had to be delayed due to Canadian singer Celine Dion who had already booked the venue.
As for Pacquiao's opponent there has been no official announcement but there have been plenty of names thrown up as real possibilities. These have included a 5th fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, a bout with Russian monster Ruslan Provodnikov, a fight with former training buddy Amir Khan or a bout with Light Welterweight champion Danny Garica.
From what we understand Pacquiao's expected payment will be between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000.
Although no other details have yet been released on the show there is however a lot of speculation that Zou Shiming (4-0, 1) will be fighting Alberto Rossel (32-8-0-1, 13) for the WBA Light Flyweight title, as long as Shiming wins his upcoming bout on the July 19th card, on the same card.
