With HBO refusing to broadcast the bout there were numerous interesting rumours about how the bout would be broadcast with some strong rumours that Top Rank were looking into selling it via things like Netflix and Amazon prime.
Those rumours all ended yesterday when Arum stated that he was going to run his own PPV for the card, copying the format of the UFC who have had great success in marketing and selling their own PPV shows.
What is currently unclear is how the international markets will be getting the show, whether for example Europe will be having to watch a PPV in the middle of the night or whether Asian markets, who have often been against PPV, will be expected to pay for the show. That however will become clear over the coming days, with some suggesting only the US audience will be subjected to a PPV expense for the card.
