Tomorrow fight fans at the Korakuen Hall will see former world title challenger Jetro Pabustan (29-4-6, 9) make his first defense of the WBO Asia Pacific Bantamweight title, as he takes on the always fun to watch Hiroaki Teshigawara (14-2-2, 8) [勅使河原 弘晶] in what we expect will be a thrilling contest.
Today the two men took part in their weigh in for the contest, and both men managed to make weight for the contest.
On the scales both men came in at the 118lb limit, a weight that both have been fighting at in recent times.
On the scales Pabustan did look the more healthy, and it should be noted that he is the naturally lighter fighter, having fought well under the 118lb limit in the past. As for Teshigawara he was a little bit drawn around the face and looked like a fighter who was draining down to make the limit, which is perhaps the case.
For fans hoping to watch this bout it will be televised on tape delay this coming weekend on Fuji TV under the Diamond Glove banner.
