On Saturday fight fans in the Philippines will get the chance to see WBO Super Bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (36-3, 23)defend his title against Hungarian challenger Zsolt Bedak (25-1, 8). The bout looks solid on paper, but of course paper and records don't really sum up the bouts that we get and it seems like, along with the bookies, have this one pegged as a massive mismatch.
The bookies have priced Donaire as a nigh unbackable favourite with odds of 1/28 being the best available on the Filipino to win. If we're being honest they do sum up the general view of the bout with Bedak likely to be little threat at all for the "Filipino Flash".
For those who do fancy the under-dog, Bedak is available at 14/1 to win the bout, in what would go down as one of the bigger upsets of the year.
As for the Draw that is widely available at 33/1.
