This coming weekend we'll see WBA Flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka (21-1, 13) [井岡一翔] return to the ring to take on Thai challenger Noknoi Sitthiprasert (62-4, 38) [นกน้อย ซีพีเฟรชมาร์ท], with the experienced Thai getting his first world title fight.
Today, ahead of that bout, Noknoi took part in a public work out and looked in good shape as well very confident, with it being clear that he is full of self belief following an impressive sounding 61 fight winning run.
The Thai admitted that he was nervous and tense but full of confidence stating that he was there for a KO win against Ioka. He stated that this was the first time in Japan and that he liked seeing the Cherry blossoms. The fighter is just over the Flyweight limit, with abotu 1.4KG's to lose for the bout, but is confidence that that weight will come off before the weight.
As for the work out Noknoi worked the mitts with former world chanpion Chatchai Sasakul, and showed off a fair bit of his skills, with the time of Ioka's took mental notes and seemed to become wary of what to avoid from Noknoi, though if we're being honest they didn't seem that impressed by the Thai.
