Just a few moments ago Japan's Nobuhiro Ishida (26-10-2, 10) updated his blog and shared his feelings on yesterday's decision win over David Radeff (5-8-2, 2).
Ishida, who suffered a cut around his left eye, said that he wanted to "thank the fans for their support" though seemed to hint that his career was perhaps winding down.
In particular he admitted that he was generally "ineffective" against Radeff and that there was some "remorse" about the bout. He didn't have excuses for his performance though did note that he is now 39, almost as if he knows the clock is ticking down on his career.
Although the cut does look nasty and is in an awful place we'd hope it we hope it take too long for to heal.
Notably Ishida made no mention of Japanese Heavyweight champion Kyotaro Fujimoto, however he did say he was "in the middle of a dream", possibly the dream of becoming the Japanese Heavyweight champion. Whatever the future brings for Mr Ishida, we wish him the best whether he gets to accomplish his dream or not.
