Earlier today at the Art Boxing Gymnasium in Gapyeong, South Korea fans got a real treat as Moon Sun Jung (3-4-3) and Sung Hwan Kim (2-1-3) traded knockdowns in an enthralling 10 round bout for the South Korean (KBC) Super Bantamweight title.
The 18 year old Jung, who had lost his previous 2 bouts, was dropped first with an over-hand right though recovered to drop Kim and seemingly break his nose with his own peach of a right hand. From then on Kim's nose was a bloodied mess with the blood eventually getting over the ring, referee and Chang.
Despite the clear facial damage Kim continued to battle hard and some thought that he was going to retain his unbeaten record. Unfortunately for the 22 year old he would come up short losing a narrow split decision with cards that all read 97-95.
