Earlier today saw the weigh in for tomorrow's show in Japan.
The main event of the card will see OPBF Lightweight champion Masayoshi Nakatani (10-0, 5) defending his belt against under-dog challenger Kazuya Murata (11-4, 5) and thankfully both men made weight for the bout which will headline a joint promotion between Shinsei Gym and Ioka Gym.
For Nakatani this will be his 4th defense of the OPBF title title that he won in January 2014, when he defeated Yoshitaka Kato by decision. The lanky Ioka gym prospect does seem to be trying to extend his reign as the OPBF champion without facing a tough contender, which is a shame, though we do know that he's eyeing up a potential world title fight, somewhere down the line.
As for Murata this will be his first title fight, though he's not expected to be anything more than fodder for his talented foe.
